Guest guest
I just saw an article in the 9/4/08 WSJ on the use of Medtronic Infuse Bone Graft, which they say is used to promote bone growth in connection with surgeries like fusions. The article cites life-threatening complications when used, primarily off label and primarily on the cervical spine. Complications cited include difficulty breathing, swallowing and speaking mainly from swelling in the throat area.
