Guest guest
We had an AMAZING dinner this evening in celebration of my birthday! My husband called beforehand to speak to the staff since I have celiac disease. They let us know they have gluten-free menu items and are aware of cross-contamination in the kitchen. Because of my celiac, we don't often eat at a lot of restaurants, but decided to give it a try. So glad we did! We had a great table near the bar and got a chance to speak to the restaurant manager (Candy) who was an incredibly sweet guy. He listened to all of my concerns and completely put me at ease. And, we had a wonderful waiter named Vito. He made the evening so great for us! An incredibly knowledgeable waiter who completely understood my concerns about gluten and cross-contamination (not to mention he was just a a nice guy). He helped us order from the gluten-free menu and even spoke to the chef about our order to make sure everything was OK! So, now to the good part...we started off with wine (of course), ordered the seared venison carpaccio, beef short ribs, vegetable skewers & the sole. They had to make minor adjustments to our order to make sure everything was prepared without gluten. And, it was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S. Of course, we had to order dessert....chocolate soufflé. Words cannot describe how good it was! Just to recap...this is an amazing restaurant with outstanding service! For all of you celiacs out there, I highly recommend this restaurant (might want to go on a week night when they are not so busy, like we did for our first time). You will have a wonderful dining experience. And, the best part, you will not get sick! :-)
