Guest guest
Hi-- I'm not sure if you all already get this information, but if not, it looks like a great resource for GF dining and travel. --lp palmer@... ________________________________________ From: Broussard [kbroussard@...] Sent: Thursday, February 18, 2010 9:22 AM info@... Subject: Exciting new enhancements to our website serving the Celiac community Dear R.O.C.K. Chapter Head, I just wanted to update you on some important new enhancements to GlutenFreeTravelSite ( http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com ), the website that allows users to search and submit reviews of restaurants, grocery stores, hotels/resorts, and cruise ships anywhere in the world that accommodate gluten-free diets. In addition to a redesigned and streamlined Home page, we have added the ability for users to narrow their search of our 800+ gluten-free dining and travel reviews to the town/city or zip code level. The results appear on a Google map, and you can click on any establishment to read the user-submitted review. To try it out, you can go to Search Reviews ( http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com/search.php ), choose a broad geographic location, and then click on the " narrow your search " link OR you can go directly to the mapping page at ( http://glutenfreetravelsite.com/maps/map-locator.php ). We are proud to be the only review-focused website where you can get personal, detailed feedback on some of the world's most Celiac-friendly restaurants, grocery stores, hotels/resorts, and cruises. And you won't just find the " same old " directory-style list of chain restaurants you find on other sites. Most places reviewed are independent restaurants, stores, resorts, and B & B's you may not have heard about. Between the 800+ reviews and the dozens of national and regional restaurant chains with gluten free menus listed on our separate Gluten Free Restaurant Menus page ( http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com/restaurants ), visitors to our site can find thousands of safe dining options. I’d so appreciate it if you could help us spread the word within your R.O.C.K. group about GlutenFreeTravelSite and our enhanced Search/Mapping capabilities. We’re always striving to get more gluten-free review submissions of peoples’ favorite local spots -- or places they've traveled. This not only helps others on gluten-free diets find new and safe places to eat, but it gives those establishments who accommodate the gluten-free community some free publicity in this challenging economic environment. Submitting a review is easy and just takes a few minutes ( http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com/submit.php ). As a fun incentive for people to submit reviews, we hold a monthly contest. We select a particularly helpful review from the prior month’s submissions, and we showcase it on our Featured Review page ( http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com/featured.php ). The winning reviewer receives a free set of four Triumph Dining restaurant cards (one each for American, Italian, Mexican, and Chinese cuisines). I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks so much for your support! Warm regards, Broussard Broussard President, GlutenFreeTravelSite.com 703.585.3386 kbroussard@...
