Guest guest Posted February 15, 2010 Report Share Posted February 15, 2010 Hi Celiac Bay Area:I was surprised to find Kara's Cupcakes in the Ghiradelli Square, SF had gluten-free cupcakes! The chocolate came highly recommended, so I tried that one. It was pretty darn good, but super sweet as it had a *ton* of frosting. Not really my thing, less is more for me.But! The sales lady said they used shared equipment, but thoroughly wash it down between batches. So, if your hyper sensitive, it's probably not the place for you. However, if mild cross contamination isn't much of an issue, you should do fine. I'm not hyper sensitive, so I was fine.
