Hi Everyone,

I was sent home yesterday afternoon from town. Very happy to be

in my own bed and take a shower. I am delighted with my correction

and the care I recieved. Thank you all for your wishes, thoughts and

prayers. I am sure they contributed to my speedy return home.

Working on getting the pain levels right now that I am on home

dosages, but overall not awful. My brace comes today so we'll see how

that works out ( " clamshell " with thigh cuff). I am very lucky as I am

enjoying walking and have good arm movement so I can reach a bit

overhead. I will send more as I feel up to sitting here longer.

Doing things in small segments. I still need more rest. Will walk

the condo hallway for maybe 10 mins today 2x and take some naps. I

can't tell you what relief I feel just being on the other side of the

surgery. Now focus on recovery!

Best,

Annette in Arlington
