I have eaten at the haight street location a few times and was fine.  they have a " gluten free " menu, but they still served me cole-slaw and I had to take it back.

I'd just be weary.

I can't figure out how to attach the PDF of their GF menu--has anyone eaten at Asqew safely? I am thinking of using them to cater a party, but wanted some input first. They are in SF and east bay I think.

Thanks, Jill

What was wrong with the cole slaw? Was it made with malt vinegar?

Hi,I've eaten at 3 locations, including the one that closed up at Westfield mall.  I may not be the best person to ask because I think I have a few unknown allergies, but one of their " GF " dinners bothered me.  As best I remember that was twice, not sure if it was the same entree.

They catered a friend of mine's wedding. When I talked to them via email they

were somewhat helpful, but when I talked to the head server at the wedding, he

was all answers. He pointed out what was OK and what was not. Most of it was.

The food was delicious, and I had no problem.

I'd say, give them a call.
