Guest guest
Whole Foods (SF) sometimes has hamburger buns (Bakehouse?). They don't taste much like hamburger buns -- they're far better. You can always go to the closest store that carries Kinnikinnick and ask them to carry it. If you need it before the store can get it in, you can always order your first batch online. > > Mariposa carries wonderful hamburger buns, and baguettes that could work for > hot dogs. > > You would need to give a call today (510-595-0955) and see if you can > reserve some for pick up at the SF Ferry Building location for tomorrow. > > > > Eileen > > > > > > _____ > > From: [mailto: ] > On Behalf Of Lillyth Denaghy Keogh-Quillan > Sent: Friday, May 21, 2010 1:28 AM > > Subject: [ ] Hot Dog/Hamburger Buns > > > > > > Are there any PRE-MADE hot dog or hamburger buns out there easily accessable > in stores that are GF & DF, BESIDES the E-ergy ones? Guest guest
That settles that, then. They are mostly for my son, who has a bigger reaction to dairy than gluten. Poop. Scratch the last question about it being in-house then. Thanks ! Guest guest
The Redwood City store also carries them. I agree that they're better than hamburger buns. They're kind of like artisan bread, almost like ciabatta bread. I use them for sandwiches, too.
