Cupcakes / Cake...Party Ideas?

Hi Everyone,

 

A friend of mine who is a dear wanted to do a gluten free dessert, even though it's for her birthday to accommodate me.  Which is awesome...but for obvious reason, may be too much work and money.

 

I'm looking for any ideas.

 

I looked into GFree cupcakes from " cups & cakes " , but seemed a little pricey.  Does anyone have any fun ideas???

Well if you just want an easy, delicious, cake/cupcake mix, our hands-down

favorite is Dowd & , available at Rainbow in SF, and probably elsewhere.

It's made with chestnut flour, and far more tasty than any gluten-full cake I've

ever had. (The new D & R brownies aren't as good, in our opinion, however).

The cake mix comes in lemon, vanilla, and chocolate flavors.
