Dixie, I hope your doing better now. I know how hard it is to watch your

body change and feel so helpless about it. I only weigh about 10 lbs more

than I did before I got sick and had my transplant, but that weight is in all

the worst places, especially my stomache. I have to dress very differently

now, but it seems that I am more careful about how I look now than before.

As far as the depression goes, I take one day at a time. Sometimes I feel

happier now than I did before I got sick. I know that has to do with the one

day at a time thing, because I don't take anything for depression. My

doctors say I will never be rid of prednisone because autoimmune hepatitis

has attacked my new liver also. But the prednisone really keeps things in

check. I am on 7 millagrams and that is where I will stay. Best wishes,
