Guest guest
I'm sure this has come up before, but I just wanted to point out that Z Cioccolato at 474 Columbus Avenue (SF) has excellent GF fudge.
Guest guest
Deb, you could make a wonderful hot chocolate by just buzzing up the fudge with a little milk, rice or nut milk, or a little water-buzz until hot and foamy. You could also make a lovely ganache type drizzle frosting to put over pancakes, muffins, cookies, etc., by doing the same thing with less water. As for you pulp, empty the pulp into a bowl, add a scoop of greek style yogurt (vanilla or plain) a squeeze of agave nectar or honey and some crushed nuts-roll into little balls, wrap in wax paper and store in the freezer-these make a wonderful " protein bar " =just take it out of the fridge a few minutes before eating. You can also add some dates, form the mixture into a log like slice and bake cookies, slice them then dehydrate them over night for a " cookie " . This works great with pulp that is heavy on the carrots, apples, etc. If you want to repurpose it all together, make a compost " tea " out of the pulp by blending it in the Vitamix with water, then strain it into a glass mason jar and use it for watering house plants or sprouting. > > Hi guys, I have some leftover fudge that I simply cannot face eating anymore. Is there any vitamix concoctions people may have to use it up in something interesting? > > Thanks in advance > > P.s. does anyone have any ideas what to do with the 'pulp' from my juicing bag? I don't have a compost heap and I don't really want to just throw it away > > Debbie >
