Guest guest Posted May 1, 2010 Report Share Posted May 1, 2010 after probably a dozen or more visits I finally got glutened at pizza party in santa clara - although it wasn't my usual symptoms - this is my first time being glutened since having our daughter -I always had GI distress within 30-60 minutes- this time it was hives on my backside- ouch! Do symptoms ever change? I do know before going GF I had a perpetual rash on my backside (probably DH) which went away so I wasn't surprised when the hives/rash appeared, but I thought I'd still get my GI symptoms... At any rate, I had always asked pizza party to make sure they used clean utensils/pans with my order but that clearly isn't enough. Their pizza is delicious - the best GF pizza I've had so I really want them to succeed. Can anyone please point me to a reference that summarizes what a business needs to do to make sure their food prep is safe?
