hi just went to dinner at pedro's in los gatos, had no choice in restaurant so

did my best they had no idea what gluten was ordered a plain salad (lettuce,

tomato,onion) with olive oil and vinegar i put on myself. had corn tortillas

with cheese and guacamole and a virgin margarita well somewhere in there was

gluten or cross contamination issues. i was sick with in 5min of eating!!! I

know eating out is risky but i have eaten at many mexican restaurants with no

problem before. well wont be going back there ever...

So sorry to hear about your experience at Pedro's! I hope you are feeling

better soon!

Pedro's in the Pruneyard was my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant way back in

the days when I could eat anywhere.

I have stopped by their restaurant a few times over the years to ask questions

regarding their menu items. I don't know if it is a language problem or what,

but I have never walked away feeling like I really knew what was in their food

even after talking with them. I have just decided that I shouldn't eat there -

and it's a shame because that restaurant holds a lot of great memories for me.

I really do miss eating there.
