Guest guest
Philip: how courageous of you to come forward. I admire your frankness and think your idea of NOT counting calories (or else counting to INSURE you're getting enough) is a good one. I have never heard of the " chairs and sitting are bad " idea before. However I'm aware that in Europe many toilets are built lower to the ground than here in the U.S. to promote squatting which is a more natural position than sitting. In view of our modern society, I'm not sure how much we can do about this. (BTW, when a person with a bad back sees the doc, the first recommendation is not to sit for a long time as it's the position that's hardest on the back). on 3/29/2003 2:46 PM, Philip at physio.care@... wrote: > I have a neuropsychiatric disorder depression anxiety and obssessive > compulsive disorder which has strong links to anorexia, bulimia so i need to > be careful.........I deliberately don't count calories as I don't want this incorporating itself into my illness!
