Guest guest
Hehe... You can eat everything... Relax! T., Alan Pater and Me did a discussion on the CRSocietyList about this topic in dez/2002. The conclusions we reach can be abstracted as folows: 1) Sunlight (UVA/UVB) is cancer causing in *HIGH* quantitities. In very low quantitities it acts as hormetics and it is good. 2) Some foods like beets and carrots, contains chemicals that cause cancer in rats but in HIGH quantities. In low quantities it does nothing. 3) Sacharin and Sodium ciclamate cause cancer in rats, but in HUGE quantities. 100 times more than a human would consume. In small quantities it doesn't. 4) Concluding: Foods that cause cancer should be consumed in very small quantities. Ironically the foods that are claimed to be cancer causing are also high in calories, and as we know calories are the enemy. Not fat, protein or carbs ... -- Gandhi. __________________________________________________________________________ E-mail Premium BOL Antivírus, anti-spam e até 100 MB de espaço.
