Guest guest
Hello all, This would be a great moment for all of us to make a collective top twenty food (and drink) pyramid. It would make all of us think and be informative as well. My foods, not in order, would probably include: sourkraut green leafy vegetables turnips nuts Low GI fruits:mixed berries (blue, straw, wolf, black),citris fruits, apples cruciferous veggies sprouts (particularly broccoli) peppers legumes roots (beets, carrots) Parsley coriander onions cooked tomatos garlic spices fish egg whites near the top few. I would have a grain to go with the legumes, but in minimal amounts. Dairy too. At the very tiniest top would go some of my favorite mouth foods: pasta, potatos, rice, popcorn. Desserts would be off the chart completely as non nutritious delights. Drinks would be Water, Green tea, Coffee very sparingly. This more or less reflects what I normally eat. Comments? What did I forget? Other opinions? Guest guest
terrific idea MM. I suggest we refer to Suz's " Checklist for CRON Variety " (in the files) to make up this pyramid. on 1/17/2003 4:11 AM, Mambo Mambo at mambomambo@... wrote: > Hello all, > This would be a great moment for all of us to make a collective top twenty > food (and drink) pyramid.
