Guest guest
Hello CR ALL: Maybe the classic " Food Pyramid " is dead. Mike's reference: The Food Pyramid, Newsweek 20 Jan 2003, page 52. The VERY WORST FOODS are at the top of the pyramid. What are the 3 bad foods pictured at the top? Surprise! Pictures of: Beef, potatoes, and pasta! Three of the worst foods: Beef, potatoes, pasta. **** Harvard School of Public Health **** But Suzanne Cart's Food Pyramid reference gives hope. The base of the " The California Cuisine " Pyramid shows veggies/fruits as the foundation. Much better. http://www.avocado.org/health/2000_90.php?sd=health Those who live in California take delight, for California is the veggie/fruit farm basket of the country. -- Warren > On 16 Jan 2003, Mike wrote: > > Is the food pyramid dead?
