I don't monitor anything, I just keep track of how I feel. I have never had a problem with fasting in the past. I have to be ready for a fast (mentally), and when I feel like I am able to do it, I do it for 5-10 days. I always blow my fast when it is only for a day or 2. I also have 2 small children, so I have to be really ready to fast...lol. I do enemas daily while fasting and I come off of my fasts gradually with teas and fresh juices. After about a week, I am almost back to my normal diet. I occasionally have gotten some constipation, but nothing that was at all worrisome. I am a very particular about my diet and health, and I am always looking for new and better ways to stay healthy.
