Guest guest
Kyber: CRON significantly reduces aging IN LAB MICE. There was also one study on dogs with the same results. Presently there are ongoing studies on primates at NIH. These primate studies look very promising but to my knowledge they are not complete. So at this point, you pay your money (or in this case you reduce your calories) and you take your chances. OTOH there are plenty of us that can attest to better quality of life/better health since we began (even if we can't say we'll all live to be 140). See the Database section (thanks Pat!) for several cronies results on their health. on 1/20/2003 11:44 AM, Kyberneticist at kyberneticist@... wrote: > However, I was wondering if any actual studies had > been done for an extended period of time examining > CRON benefits in humans, p'raps even comparing to > observations from animals. > I've been looking around, and while I've seen some > research here and there, none of it seems to be on the > most interesting part to me - does CRON significantly > reduce aging? > > Is it simply that insufficient time has elapsed to > know anything for certain, or that the research hasn't > been done, or that I'm simply looking in the wrong > places?
