Guest guest
Hi Dan, Sounds like you've already done the first, most important step--studying. Now you get down to the business of "living half as well as you already know how," to borrow from Mark Twain. Patience is nearly as important as discipline. This group has helped me a lot with both, so never be shy about asking for help. (I asked for help during the holidays, and am so glad I did!) I'm pleased to report to the group that my return to the rigid daily planning of my diet, like I did in the early months of CRONing, has restored my discipline. Somewhere in my journey I got the notion that I was sufficiently experienced to do CRON "ad lib." DOH! No more flying by the seat of my pants! I'm using my Diet Power program again, planning each day's food 24 hours in advance, and promising myself not to stray from the plan without reporting to the computer first, such as when substitutions become necessary.
