Guest guest
As CR continues to disappear my insulating fat the most notable effect as temperatures drop is frequently cold hands even indoors. I often have to run warm water over them or blow warm breath into cupped hands. It's easy enough to otherwise dress warmly, but hands are chronically exposed to lower temps. Any remedies other than turning up the heat? My thinking is of a pair of skin-tight gloves that have a skin-like texture that would facilitate wearing them all the time. Most gloves impair digital dexterity in one way or another, and thus are not suitable for continuous use. Does anyone else have this minor but annoying problem or know where to find skin-tight, skin-like gloves? BTW, my weight is down from 160 last May to around 145 lbs now. Some friends are telling me to eat more since they have this idea that being thinner than normal is unhealthy. I tell them that if you're going to do CR with hopes of gaining a life-extension benefit, you will get very thin (unless you are genetically set to be very fat like ob/ob mice). So if CR is the goal, typically being very thin will be an inherent feature of that goal. http://IanGoddard.net/cr.htm
