Guest guest
(OT paragraph) Last evening our local NPR station ran a program with a trio of local travel agents, and they referred to the map of the Caribbean in the new National Geographic. Now, I'm not the 'first reader' of NG at our house, but they caught my interest and I opened the issue that came in yesterday's mail. When I tore out one of the pain-in-the-derriere inserts (glued-in mail-in subscription envelope), underneath was a short piece titled " The Skinny on Aging " , which you can read at http://magma.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/0303/resources_who.html What's interesting about it is that the article and the links that are on the webpage seem so mainstream. Amazing! (Note that if you have the print copy of the mag, the link they give is not quite right. Also, they've got this bizarre page numbering scheme which gives no numbers to the pages in the front and back with gold boxes in the upper outer corners. This piece is on the last of these gold box pages in the front of the mag.) Iris
