Guest guest
Micky: a most interesting article. We've all been there. Have you tried any of our " Aids and Tips " in the files, which might help? on 2/24/2003 7:41 PM, Micky Snir at mickys@... wrote: > This is something I've been struggling with for a while. Guest guest
I've just read the file. My comments to the relevant items: 1) " fiber " . I get at least 50 gms a day. 3) " drink a lot " . I do. I don't want to drink too much before bed-time though. 4) " safety food " . I guess non-caloric. I'll try some fiber thingy. 5) " Protein & fats " . I get more than enough protein, and about 25%-30% fat, mostly from nuts and flax. 6) " vinegar " . Ah! My favorite. I mix it with mustard and flax-oil for the salad dressing. 7) " fat " . I always start my meal with " fats " . 8) " # of meals/day " . I've tried them all... I currently eat 4 or 5 meals per day. 9) " raw vegetable " . Yes, almost every evening I have one. 11) yup. see #4. 12) " satietrol " . I don't like the sound of it. sorry. 13) " potato " . Nope. Potatoes trigger the avalanche. Not as much as fruits do, though. 14) " fruit " . Nope. Fruit always starts an avalanche. Maybe I would add to the tips (with different wording maybe): a) if you have a problem, admit it; do not suppress it (and never blame others for it). there are no magic bullets. One needs character and determination. c) always be optimistic and positive. You always have the power to change. d) No CR-slip is disastrous; it is merely another lesson to learn from. e) find out your weak spots, and deal with them. Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestions below for the file. The wording sounds fine to me. If you come up with any other " solutions " let us know so that we can put it into the files and all benefit from your experience. on 2/24/2003 8:30 PM, Micky Snir at mickys@... wrote:\ > Maybe I would add to the tips (with different wording maybe): > a) if you have a problem, admit it; do not suppress it (and never blame > others for it). > there are no magic bullets.
