Once you get a little older (like middle age) it is an excellent

practice to check your glucose levels at least twice yearly. I am not

a diabetic, but I use a Therasense Freestyle. Works wonderfully well.

Happy to report that my latest fasting glucose level was 78

(healthiest range reportedly is from 65 - 79)
