i believe this notion came from another list, not ours. The consensus on

this list seems to be: eliminate a whole food group at your own risk. Whole

grains contain valuable Vit E and zinc (both hard to get on a CRON diet).

For all we know there are other nutrients in them yet to be discovered.

Walford highly recommends grains. Also see the file: " Checklist for CRON

Variety. "
