To a certain extent it is healthy to be interested in food - since it seems to be rather important. However my " interest " sometimes extends to thinking continuously about eating food. That's clearly not productive. My only real antidotes at the moment are thowing myself into activity - or eating food.
Guest guest
> It seems to me that a tendency towards binging is proba bly a > CRON hazzard. My current strategy is not to avoid a bingue attack (because it is unavoidable, and some day it will happen), but to prevent it to happen and recover for it, after it happened. Bingeing in CR foods and drink lots of watter and lemon juice is my main current strategies, but the bingeing can occur with doghnuts (terrible). In this way, even in a bingue, I anotate everything I ate and average calories only. My average caloric consumption is aways in the range 1600-1700 kcal/day. This is CR50 (to me). Why such strategy? Because to me is easyer to abstain from food, then stoping eating after the bingein had begun, specially if what I'm eating is doghnuts . In that case, the bingue is folowed by a period of fasting and low caloric intake (1000-1200 kcal/day) until the weight get stabilized and average caloric consumption falls in that range again. After I began CR in 1997-1998 I'm gaining weight with some facility (I became a thirfty), before CR I was an burner and I was aging faster. This happened to me in December-2002, when I decided to gave-up CRON: 4 pounds in a week, so I gave up ad-libitum and begin CR again. eheh... This is an wise decision of yours, IMHO. I eat doghnuts and wheat germ foods (even knowing that they will glicate my colagen and make my skin wrinkle). My T is low, but I eat way too much (and don't gain weight other than my 5-lb fluctuation, which is bad enough.) Would love to hear more.
