Guest guest
Hi... I just got a call from 's husband saying that 's surgery was completed and was recovering in ICU. Dr. Hu told Bob that she got about 90-95% of the correction she was hoping for. 's blood loss was starting to mount and she felt the remaining correction wasn't worth the increased risk. If feels the correction isn't good enough, Dr. Hu is willing to take her back to surgery at a later date (something they talked about yesterday). Bob also said that Dr. Hu thought might have some numbness in her right thigh because of a nerve issue she encountered. I'll update the list as more information becomes available. 's husband and sister-in-law are in SF until mid-day tomorrow. After that, I've signed up a bunch of volunteers to take shifts. So, hopefully won't have to fend for herself too much.
