It would help if folks quit calling fructose in a general category of sugar. Why do I never hear "refined fructose" but I do hear "refined sugar"?

I don't understand the high fructose being "sweeter" when I can sweeten my tea with 2 tsps (1/3 oz = 38 kcals) of sucrose and a coke uses 100 kcals of corn for 8 oz. I also don't understand "doesn't cause the secretion of insulin". It does something right away.

Regards.
