Guest guest
Hi all, I've noticed a few things that seem to be errors in Walford's books, and I wonder whether some of these have been compiled into a errata sheet similar to the one on Walford's website for Beyond the 120 Year Diet. One involves a recipe in The Anti-Aging Plan. The cioppino recipe says it serves 8, but the amount that this makes is huge and I think it is more likely for 16. The weight in grams mentioned--close to 500--comes close to matching that for 1/16 portion. So does anyone know for sure, or am I mistaken somehow? Another has to do with the tablular nutrient data for seaweed. The tables in " Beyond " are wildly different from those given in the USDA database. Walford's measurements are for 8 grams and the USDA is for 10, but the nutritional differences seem to be around an order of magnitude off, in some cases. Again, if I'm simply reading things wrong, I hope someone will set me straight. Geoff
