Hi ,

If you haven't already read Dr. Walford's books, you'll find some information therein about going meatless on CRON. His daughter , who co-wrote "The Anti-Aging Plan" is a world-class yoga instructor and (I believe) a vegetarian (someone will please correct me if I'm wrong.) In any case, Dr. Walford states on page 55 of that book: "Many athletes, especially bodybuilders, have a mania about proteins. They believe that a very high protein intake will increae muscle mass and stamina. That's just not true! There is no direct link between big muscles and big amounts of protein in the diet..."

A lot of us CRONies lift weights, for a variety of health reasons. Hence the muscles you see in our photo section!
