Jeri,

As several have replied the biggest concern is the anesthesia time.

I'm 2 yrs. post op & stage 1 was 8 1/2 hrs. then 2 days later the posterior was 9 1/2. With severe abnormal bleeding in the second one. The blood loss in my dr's op note for that one was 1.8 liters. Got lots of blood after that one!

The other deciding factor of course has to be what needs to be done.
