That's the difference between being thin (and not being careful about what you eat) and being a CRONIE. We're hoping to live longer and healthier. In my own case I'll be happy to live to my late mother's age (she died just shy of 98) but without her painful arthritis. For me, it's quality of life. Don't fret over your past excesses. It doesn't do any good. Many of us (myself included) started croning at a relatively senior age.
