Guest guest
Hi, there. My name is Christy. I'm new here, but as a fellow UTI sufferer, thought I would share my experience. I used to take the cranberry pills and they usually worked, but I was finding one particular infection hard to knock out. So I asked the clerk at Whole Foods and they said " Get the Jarrow brand. That's the one we never get any compaints about. " So I did and it knocked it out where the other brand (It was Eclectic Institute Freeze Dried Cranberry " - I know cause I still have 1/2 the bottle, unused) didn't. So I recommend the Jarrow Cran Clearance pills, if you want to go that way. But the cheapest and most effective way, in my experience, is SALT. The good kind, with all the minerals still in it, like REDMOND's REAL SALT. I read about it on the internet as a cure for UTIs- 1/2 a tsp or so in a glass of water. It's anti-bacterial, and it moves through your system fast. For me, it worked in maybe 45 minutes. I went from totally being in pain, to feeling fine. I think I used @ 1 tsp, though, with another 1/2 tsp the next day just to be sure. Baking Soda is reported to work, as well. I've also found that eating a lot of asparagus works, but haven't tried garlic or parsley as suggested, because the salt worked so well, I just stopped there. Hope this helps someone! lv christy

I recommend 6 glasses of lemon juice with 1/4 tsp. of ocean sea salt in 6 ounces of water daily as a regular drink to help your body detoxify and to aid digestion. That's great that it helps UTI as well. Redmond's is from land minerals so it doesn't contain the range of minerals that ocean sea salts to, i.e. Celtic (Nature's Cargo in Canada), Himilayan, etc. which contain over 84 minerals, while Redmond's contains around 54 minerals. > Baking Soda is reported to work, as well.
