Guest guest
In the past few months we've been priviledged to increase our membership by many. Newbies, please post with any questions or just to introduce yourself. We're delighted to have you join us and we roll out the welcome mat. I've gotten a couple of queries from people who don't know how to post to the list. Please e-mail me if you have any trouble or don't understand how to post, especially from the digest. Also, newbies or lurkers sometimes e-mail me off-list to answer their CRON questions. There are several reasons why it's beneficial to ask and have your questions answered, on the board. 1. First of all, I'm only " one mouse " and any answers I give you may not be the full picture. If you ask on the list, you can get a better idea of things if several people respond to your question (s). 2. If you have questions, you can bet others have similar questions. So your question is probably important and should be asked. 3. It's of benefit to all to actively participate on the list and not just lurk. Lurkers get the benefit of the information (freely given by others) and by not wishing to " go public " , don't give back to the forum. So think of it as " a win-win " situation if you post to the board. And think of it as lending a helping hand to others and thanking the list for helping you. 4. There is no need to be fearful of posting here. Nobody has ever been treated rudely on this list. If you're fearful of posting, because you've been treated badly elsewhere, that does not apply here.
