Guest guest
Hi folks. I'm back. Took a few days off from the computer, been feelin' pretty funky. Am better today. And the sun is out....that's always nice, especially when the weather's still cool. And the hummingbirds are back:) I heard one outside yesterday, so I put the feeder back up and they've been drinking away. It's really cool, b/c my feeder is right outside my bedroom window (on one of those suction cup holders) and I get to see them up close. They bring me joy. Right now, the male (rubby-throated) is doing the courtship dance while the female is drinking. She's not impressed at this point!! Anyway, thank you all for all the suggestions. I've made use of them, went shopping with your lists and got a lot of stuff, like bendy straws, an armed pillow, and some tank tops to wear under my brace. I wasn't willing (at this point) to cough up the funds for an electric razor, but that may change down the road! Still gotta get some silky bottoms (even though I'm a 100% cotton freak), b/c I can only imagine how much easier they will make turning over in bed. I know when I've torn a muscle in the past, that anything to make turning over easier would be worth it. Never thought of the silky thing though. So, I'll bite the bullet and actually buy something that's not all cotton!! I sweat really bad at night, but it seems that the Lyrica is helping that, for whatever reason, an unexpected positive benefit. Who knows what causes what at this point, ya know. So, somebody tell me about THE RETREAT coming up in 13 mos. peace, camille You veterans are so awesome for sticking around and helping out the newbies. I plan to do the same. Every little bit helps. You never know just what comment or suggestion is gonna speak to someone. With all the talk of husbands being there during your recovery, I have to fight off the envy!! and instead use it as hope for me one day. And I also have to know that I'm right where I'm supposed to be and always have everything I need in this moment.
