Guest guest
plain, organic yoghurt is FAR better than milk because it has no hormones or antibiotics added and MOST IMPORTANTLY it is full of " good " bacteria which is necessary to maintain the integrity of your digestive system as well as promote overall health. here are some of the benefits : 1.probiotics work from the inside of the intestine out, dislodging accumulated decay on the walls and flushing the waste out normally. 2. break down hydrocarbons - a unique ability to split food into its most basic elements, allowing almost total absorption through the digestive system. This dramatically increases overall nutrition, and rapidly enhances cellular growth and development. Constipation is virtually relieved almost overnight. 3.produce specific proteins that act as antigens. These antigens then stimulate the immune system, which may help prevent disease and illness. 4.extremely aggressive against pathological molds, yeast, fungi and viruses. 5.work in symbiosis with somatic (tissue and organ) cells to metabolize proteins, and help eliminate toxic wastes. 6.stimulate B-Lymphocyte and related anti-body production. It produces huge pools of extra anti-bodies, ready to protect and defend against infection. 7.provide critical Lactoferrin supplementation. The SBO's produce Lactoferrin as a by-product of their metabolism. Lactoferrin is an iron-binding protein essential to retrieving iron from foods we eat. Many individuals suffer from iron-deficiencies, which may actually be iron-assimilation deficiency. Increased Lactoferrin can help relieve these conditions. 8.helps to kill parasites. MANGIA! MANGIA! ps-great idea regarding the coral calcium!

Guest guest
If you look at the ingredients listed on most store bought yogurt there are more additives than standard milk. Yes, probiotics can have value, and fermentation reduces sugars which may be beneficial for lactose intolerant. I have been getting my daily calcium requirement with homemade Kefir for several months now and prefer it over my old (store bought) yogurt habit.
