Guest guest
Funny you should mention this Hue. I'm now reading Hurtman " s " Managing your Mind and Mood through Food " recommended by McGlothin for my sleep problem. The gist of the book is the timing of eating during the day, i.e. when to eat more protein and when to eat more carbs. Carbs in the evening release seratonin for a calming restful sleep . Proteins durng the day keep you awake, alert, and mentally ready to tackle the day's challenges. For the sake of my fellow insomniacs on the list, as well as people who have " mood " problems, I'll report more as I dig deeper into the book. on 11/2/2002 10:12 PM, Hue at kargo_cult@... wrote: > is that my one > big meal, quite late at night, is quite large in carbs, yet it really > doesn't bother me afterward or the > next day.
