Guest guest
We have an idea where the cliff is, from animal studies, it's around 70% CR down from ad lib intake. Are you anywhere near that, do you think? > -----Original Message----- > From: Alan Pater [mailto:apater@...] > Sent: Tuesday, October 22, 2002 8:12 AM > CR Support Group (E-mail) > Subject: [ ] Does CR have an extreme? > > > Hi All, > > There may be those to whom CR has become addicting. Al, I'm certainly no expert, but I have been listening to CRONies for a few years now, whether in person or online. What does truly concern me is the number of individuals who seem to have fallen off the cliff mentally. These individuals are very attuned to the physical effects of CRON on their lives, but seem to be in complete denial regarding their own mental deterioration. I suppose we all want to get as close to that edge as we can without going over. I'm suggesting, therefore, that monitoring our own mental health might be a better gauge than the actual physical indicators of CR of where we stand relative to that cliff. It's just a hunch. If much of this discussion has been over the internet, have there been more nutcases than elsewhere? The internet is full of fruitcases - but I can't say I've noticed a *particular* abundance of them among CR practitioners.

Guest guest
Why do you think you were living on the edge if you weren't near the " cliff " ? > -----Original Message----- > From: Alan Pater [mailto:apater@...] > Sent: Wednesday, October 23, 2002 5:42 PM > CR Support Group (E-mail) > Subject: RE: [ ] Does CR have an extreme? > > > I am not that kind of animal and no - only about half way. > The view was > nice, but results were not, All. > > Cheers, Al.
