Guest guest
I am looking for a good nutritional yeast. In general, it seems to contain a lot of the B vitamins and minerals I tend to miss most days without supplementation. However, I noticed that many brands add artificial B vitamin supplements to their products, which defeats the purpose of trying to devise a diet that provides the basic nutrients on its own. Also, many add honey, etc. So, any recommendations on a good, inexpensive, and unfortified nutritional yeast? Also, as far as B12 goes, I've been reading that the most common form of B12, cyanocobolamin, isn't well utilized by our bodies. I'm considering adding an evening supplement of methylcobolamin, in part because I have trouble with sleep and have read that it may help. Does anyone have any further B12 information? Are there good dietary sources of methycobolamin? Do you tend to be concerned about which form you get in your diet?
