Your example about how to anxswer w/ objective information, finding the

resources on PubMed is probably one of the most helpful bits of information to

me yet. I guess I'm rather in the dark ages when it comes to using resources.

Thanks.

Dear Nan,

Good to hear all went well with Ken, and thanks for the update.

Hi allI just heard from Christy, Ken's wife, who reported that Ken just got out of surgery and is fine. Dr. Pashman did the surgery in eight hours. According to Christy, he shouldn't have to have a second surgery unless there are balance issues that come up. He will have his breathing tube removed tomorrow morning. The doctor removed all of his rods, and did not have to do a rib removal. Christy said that he did 3 osteotomies, but she did not know at what level they were. That is all I have for now. Christy did not know if Cedars Sinai has an email card system, but I can check tomorrow. That's all I have for now. Hope everyone is well.Nan

Nan,

Thanks for passing on the good news about Ken. I am glad to hear that

he is over that hump. Now comes that " feeling run over by truck " few

days.

Please pass along all our good wishes.

Take Care, Cam

Hi Ken,

I remember that feeling, is anybody coming today? I soon gave up on

that and called people saying, come on down...hunny will cook for

you :) I am not sure he appreciated it but hey, it was all about me

then. Take it easy, you will heal, slow but sure. VC (valerie C)

Subject: Implant and Dizziness

I have just joined the group. I just had my implant 3 days ago. I am also a

Menieres person. I am experiencing increassed dizzness more the off and on minor

dizziness that I have with Menieres. My ENT says the increased dizziness should

go away after 3-7 days following the implant.

I would appreciate any info on dizziness from your implant.
