The topic was obesity and she wasthe fitness coach for someone who attended the DukeWeightloss Program. If she is the one, can she tell uswhether or not the man able to keep his weight off forthe long term? It was an interesting program. Yep, that was me. My client, Bob Hyman, continued to lose weight gradually and is now as fit and trim as a fiddle. The program is actually a few years old now, but Discovery Channel continues to air it. They have also approached Bob about doing a sequel, and have told him that they have received unusually high volumes of mail regarding it. Bob does some form of cardio exercise everyday, faithfully. His favorite is swimming. He lifts weights 3 or 4 times a week, and also enjoys yoga regularly. His diet is very "ON", but he has settled on 3000 calories a day. This probably doesn't sound too "restrictive" by some of our standards, but seems to be the number at which Bob can maintain a good level of compliance. He also now enjoys a bit of local notoriety. I've been out jogging with him several times when some stranger will say, "Hey aren't you that guy on the Discover Channel that lost all that weight?" Since the weight loss, Bob truly enjoys life. He has learned to sail, has taken up golf, earned a real estate license, and now is learning to fly. Nobody can keep up with him anymore. His 18 years old twins whom you saw on the program are freshman in college and have moved away, and Bob is truly coping beautifully with his empty nest. OH and he's DATING. I'm his agent. If any single ladies within the continental U.S. would like to meet "famous Bob," by all means let me know! Hugs Suz
