Ah, but the species is in very little danger of perishing on account of this . The species will probably perish on account of nukes in the hands of some non-government nutcase .... I have long argued that cessation of menstral cycles in females is what I would consider going to far (to far for me at any rate). I see now though, that it isn't that easy at all for me to achieve that low level of body fat. I would probably be suffering from way too many unbearable symptoms long before that point. I already have insomnia more than I used to although I am managing it well lately (and no at 27 I can not blame it on my age ) > > I should say that I am an extremist, and perhaps somehow > > unhappy from being extremist. " A life dedicated to the advancement of science is a nobel thing - just not as the guineia pig!! " - joanne. Yes, I mainly replied just to throw out that quip . The whole idea of wanting to be a human guinea pig seems bizarre to me. My motive is long term self-interest. But yes of course this type of test is not a valid scientific test. It is actually what makes extropolating too much from Biosphere2 pure folly.
