Guest guest
Hi , I like your idea of sending pics and you look great. You're right it does make it more personal. My pic was taken about 1 1/2 years ago for my Mom's 81st birthday. It was taken at a restaurant called Barclay's in Dallas. My mom used to call into a radio talk show in the mornings. She has a great sense of humor and the hosts just adore her. When they found out it was her birthday they sent a long stretch limo for the entire family and took us out to dinner at this restaurant. We all had a great time. My mom has had Crohn's for 30 years, she's a great example of why we should never give up hope. At the time this was taken I was off the pred for almost one year, I started losing weight and my big round face about 5 months prior to this picture. The cheeks were still a little chunky in this pic. If you want to see a pic of me while on the drugs, I think I can dig one up. I was wondering if you were being treated with meds for the years before your diagnosis? P.S. My husband's originally from Bayridge and I grew up in Sunnyside Queens. === Barbara Ann Transplant Recipient _________________________________________________________
