Subject: High Fat diet (question for )

Alan you mentioned a site where canola oil is

criticized, actually the site criticizes all oil, but still

advocates a diet high (35-40%) in fat with most of

this being saturated fat. Do you agree with this

philosophy?

Positive Dennis

Hi All, No, I do not eat them or recommend them. The site criticizing

canola oil have a web site logo on top that was extremely critical of the

kind of high-fat diet that you describe.

Cheers, Al.

35-40% definitely is not " high-fat " !! above 60% maybe could be considered

high-fat, but most human diets historically have been easily over 40%, so

i'd put this in the low-medium range.

the only reason i keep my fat intake down around 40% is because i don't do

much physical activity beyond exercise, and i eat a lot of vegetables.
