Guest guest
I don't use it myself, but there is rice protein of various varieties. Try this link: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient & q=rice+protein It will return the google search results for " rice protein " - and there are a number of links. You might also find some milk or whey proteins with varying sodium content. I can find no reason to eat meats, but I will allow there may be something we don't know about. I think we may have more vegans and veggies than we see posting. Now after 3 yrs of lacto, I find the smell of the meat depts offensive, and I just cleaned out my freezer of all of that smell. The problem I have is, my body doesn't like soy - it flares arthritic joints. So does too many peanuts. And dried beans raise my blood pressure. So if I could find a concentrated protein powder - not soy, not milk, not peanuts, not egg, not dried beans, I would use it in place of lacto. The reason I want to limit lacto is it's sodium content.
