He was diagnosed with pyloric stenosis yesterday (its where the muscle between the stomach and small intestine..it enlarges so food doesnt pass baby gains no weight and pukes a lot) so he is having a surgery today. My sister is a first time mom and I know she could really use the prayers. So if you have time to say a prayer for them. That would be great. Otherwise have a good day.. Sue(from Ohio).....low albumin could be the cause of edema...one of the

jobs of albumin is to keep an osmatic balance between the walls of your

vessels...you may have some portal systemic hypertension which would

indicate a distressed liver....this is definitely something to talk to

your doc about....low albumin is an indication of malfunctioning

liver....perhaps you have more liver damage than you know..

It used to be that everytime I saw my gastro the first thing he would do

was check my ankles and feet.... talk to your doctor about this...portal

hypertension leads to a lot of complications...

Jerry, Thanks for your response!! My docs have never ever checked or even

asked about my ankles... My levels get checked again on Aug.2nd, do you think

I should get them checked sooner? Hope you are doing well. Take care, Love,

Hello lena_d_l@...,

In reference to your comment:

è Well I can only describe what I felt. My short term

è memory was shot. I would start one thing for a few

è minutes then wander off & do something else for

è a few minutes & so on. I couldn't concentrate on

è anything or get any motivation to do it. I felt listless

è & accomplished nothing which made me feel

è worse.

Yup nodding thats me

Wait whats me

im sorry i cant remember

If this is true, then the definition of " rife machine " has certainly

changed. I came very close to getting a Rife device either from Bruce

Stenulson, Jim Bare, or Dick Loyd. Neither those devices, nor any of the

other ones I investigated, could have been built from Radio Shack parts.

Hi Gang!Greeting from Montana. Sorry I have been an imperfect stranger. This school year has absolutely been the worse for me. I am in charge of directing two plays, head and travel with the comeptitive speech team, and have five different classes to prep and teach. Worse of all, I am teaching a class I have never taught and I have had to learn myself in order to teach it.My health has suffered as a result. I am on 5mg of prednisone. My levels are peeking over the fence now. My sugars levels reflecting my diabetes are not as consistent as I would like but still not enough to warrant medication. What I am writing you guys about today is feedback. I have a pimple on my tongue. My GP was not worried thought it could

be a canker sore. My dermatologist thinks it is an early stage on candidaisis and put me on mycostatin which has to dissolve in my mouth. Also is seems I have had to fight a lot of viral infections this year. Any personal storieanyone would care to pass on? They have been very helpful in the past and have gotten me through other difficult timesMy classroom has abundant mold. In fact the tiles are hanging from the ceiling. My asst-principal says its not his responisblity. I worry that the mold could be aggravating my condition.I realize I am in an impossible situation for resolution from mold or scheduling. I put in for a sabbatical. My famous aunt who, at 86, drove from Atlanta to Montana to deliver me to a man who could diagnose my autoimmune, now needs me to be closer to help her. She will turn 90 this year. Thanks for the opportunity to catch up and update. Please let me know if you have

anything to contribute especially concerning my new maladies,Your friendAIH/dx92

Yes I guess I was sketchy in my email. I have been dx' with AIH since 1/01. I was put on 40mg of prednisone and tapered off. I have been on 5mg for about the past year. SInce, I also have had diabetes to come on board. My train is getting a little too crowded for me.

Thanks for your response

Hi ,

Just be careful. You can have a delayed reaction that happens 10-14 days after

the sting. The worst being serum sickness which is a delayed allergic reaction

just under anaphalactic shock. It causes fever, rash, flu like symptoms and

temporary arthritis.

Most likely you have out grown it or like said the Enbrel is not

allowing a reaction to happen.Just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't

become

infected.I just got stung 2 weeks ago and had way more of a reaction then

when I was little.

Hi, . I do remember Chris' allergist saying that allergies can be

outgrown, just as they can develop when you get older or change. It is

possible you outgrew that allergy to bees, but still be careful just in

case it was some kind of weird isolated incident with that one bee!

Michele

Has anyone experienced a loss of an allergy since a JRA diagnosis.

Growing

up I was highly allergic to bee's.. severe reactions.. many trips to the

ER..

On Sunday I got stung by a bee with absolutely no reaction.. I found it

strange

since Bee sting allergies typically get worse with every sting.. Has

this

happened to anyone? Am I just special.. did I outgrow it.. I don't get

it..

PS. Thanks Helen for the kind words in my guestbook I really appreciate

it.
