Guest guest
This stuff sounds too good to be true! I didn't see any prediction of when it will be on the market. And also how much it will cost!! If anyone knows any of this info please post. on 7/30/2003 11:26 PM, Suzanne Cart at massuz@... wrote: > Well-written article on Hoodia Gordonii from the August issue of Dolfzine: > > http://www.dolfzine.com/page612.htm#Top
Guest guest
The BBC article about Hoodia stated the most popular Hoodia supplement in the US was tested and found lacking any real Hoodia content. I don't know of any reliable Hoodia supplement. Perhaps one must grow one's own Hoodia cactus at this point. >From: Francesca Skelton <fskelton@...> >Reply- >< > >Subject: Re: [ ] Hoodia Article >Date: Thu, 31 Jul 2003 08:00:48 -0400 > >This stuff sounds too good to be true! Guest guest
Yes, that's right . There are no currently available hoodia supplements. That's kinda the gist of the Dolfzine article which I posted. Also, growing your own probably isn't feasible either, unless you want to plant some now for your ancestors to enjoy. It's EXTREMELY slow-growing. This is why the Sans have such a good corner on the market. BTW I believe credit for the Dolfzine article goes to their editor, Rosemary Vernon. I know she's been researching hoodia extensively and was preparing an article for Dolfzine. Not sure why she didn't take credit for it. Guest guest
I've read it's usually better to use the whole plant or as close to it than to use just the isolated derivative. Of course, the drug companies make the big money off the latter. My question: is it illegal to import hoodia? (I saw one woman who had some here in US and sawthere's a group for people interested in similar plants including hoodia.) It seems to me some health food oriented entrepreneurs should be trying to put together some healthier/whole plant version of it. Francesca Skelton wrote: This stuff sounds too good to be true!
