: many of us use guar. See the files for more info and where to get it.

I'm not so sure it reduces my hunger, but guar is a fibrous vegetable (see

guar in Suz's checklist for CRON variety in the files) therefore healthy,

and the guar pudding we cronies make out of it is delicious (and almost 0

calories). I tried cellulose and didn't like it but to each his own. Try

samples first if at all possible to see how you like the taste(s). Our

files will tell you how to get samples.

I think if you read our files carefully, you'll learn a lot more about what

most of us eat, and how. We also have an extensive recipe file for all

kinds of dishes and a links network to many other healthy recipe sites. To

access the files just go to the home page:

/

and click on " files " in the left hand margin.

The " links " in the list in the left hand column of the home page will take

you to several Okinawa studies and the Okinawans are the healthiest, longest

lived people on the planet (or at least they were til they started eating

western style).

You sound like a very bright young man, wise beyond your 17 years. It's

wonderful to have you in the group.
