Guest guest
Has anyone heard of or tried this product? The Body Composition Analyzer (BCA) http://www.slimstep.com/bca.htm It purports to measure one's body fat, muscle mass, hydration, and most relevant to CRONies, bone mass: http://www.slimstep.com/bca-pg2.htm It uses " advanced bio-impedance analysis. " I used to use a similar hand-held device that tests body fat percentage that was available for use at a local store until my body fat dropped so low it says it's too low to measure. The BCA can only measure body fat down to 5%, so it's probably not useful for body-fat measuring for CRONies. But the possibility of a reliable means for in-home bone-density testing is alluring. Hydration testing might also be useful. It sells for only $59: http://www.shoplifestyle.com/store/product.asp?dept%5Fid=9 & pf% 5Fid=4945 Any thoughts? http://IanGoddard.net/journal.htm " To lengthen thy life, lessen thy meals.
