I'm certain he's outlived his cohort in the general South African population. It would be interesting to know if his fellow Robbin Island prisoners are also experiencing better health and longevity. We'd also want to know something about their prison diet. It probably was limited in both calories and nutrition. If this diet improved longevity, it was more likely due to CR and not ON.
