Guest guest
One of the probs I found is space in the frig and spoilage. I go 85 miles to get kale, Chinese greens and I've found a large cooler with bag ice in it will keep them fresh for days, maybe weeks - trying that now. Keep the ice replaced, and the greens on top of it. The ice humidifies and keeps them at 32 deg - not the 40 deg of frig's. Prob is the icemaker doesn't make that much ice - maybe half as much, so I've wondered how to maybe put the greens in the frig draw with ice in the bottom of a drawer. Messy but maybe someone in the frig business will add a capability to drain the drawer to the outside pan? Come to think of it - I used to have a drain in the bottom of the frig. There should still be a plug in the bottom of your fridge, or is mine that old. Egads, what a thought. Ruth
